The photographs on this page are of castle and stately homes in Aberdeenshire cared for privately such as Balmoral and Dunnottar as well as those such as Huntly Castle, a Historic Scotland site and the many National Trust for Scotland properties such as Craigievar, Crathes or Haddo House. It will also include many of the beautiful ruins of small churches and other such reminders of the rich and ancient heritage of this part of North East Scotland.
